The Early vs High Renaissance

You may have noticed, as you read through Chapters 20 and 21, that artists in Florence seemed particularly interested in the Biblical figure of David. By far, the most famous representation of the hero is Michelangelo’s David of 1504.
Taking into consideration that the High Renaissance is defined by increased dedication and interest in the ideals that emerged in the Early Renaissance, choose one of the earlier versions of David (20-14, or 20-27) and discuss the changes that you notice in presentation.
