Overview

The graphic below shows the influences that have an impact on our behavior as well as whether that behavior is ethical. The sources of our beliefs are initially described in the diagram. It then demonstrates how our attitudes and subsequent behavior are related to our ideas and values.

Describe a belief.

An concept that a person holds to be true is referred to as a belief.

A belief may be founded on facts of faith, probabilities, or certainties (such as mathematical concepts).

A belief may originate from a variety of sources, such as:

The acceptance of cultural and societal standards (such as religion) a person’s personal experiences or experiments what other people say (e.g.education or mentoring).
A prospective belief remains with the individual until they embrace it as part of their individual belief system.

A personal value is what?
Values are enduring, dependable ideas about a person’s priorities. They develop into guidelines by which individuals organize their lives and make decisions.

A person’s commitment to and perception of the value of a belief will mature into a value over time

Beliefs can be divided into various categories of values; examples include values related to happiness, prosperity, career success, and family.

To be able to make precise, logical, accountable, and consistent decisions, a person must be able to express their beliefs.

What does attitude mean?

Before making choices that have an impact on one’s behavior, people have attitudes regarding the world around them and the situation they find themselves in. People’s attitudes are mostly shaped by their underlying principles.
