In preparing for your term paper or video essay (which is due Dec 17), you will compile anannotated bibliography in which you consider at least two (2) potential scholarly sources, notincluding The Oxford History of World Cinema or other course readings. If you are workingin a group for the video essay, each member of the group must turn in their own uniqueannotated bibliography. (In other words, all your group members may not simple duplicate thesame 2 sources.)
At the top of your document, before the actual “annotated bibliography” (see below), pleaseprovide 2-3 sentences describing your topic for the essay.
Please see http://guides.library.cornell.edu/annotatedbibliography for guidelines on creating anannotated bibliography. Your citations should follow MLA format, with approx. 100-150 wordsof commentary/evaluation for each of your potential sources.

NOTE: The purpose of this assignment is to make sure that you get “on track” and start yourresearch early. As you continue working on your paper for the remainder of the semester, yourlist of resources may change, and that is OK. This annotated bibliography is simply the firstmajor step towards the essay itself.
