Students will be required to analyze any local organization of their choice with which they are familiar and prepare a report to be presented to the top management. The report will be used by the management to decide on the business strategy and its effect on the business and also the future direction of the organization.
The tasks include:
i. Conducting an environmental analysis for the chosen organization, using the PESTEL analysis, Porter’s 5 Forces analysis, and SWOT analysis.
ii. Next, formulate a competitive strategy based on Porter’s Generic Strategy and growth strategy using the Ansoff (Product/Market) matrix.
iii. Keeping in view all these circumstances, also suggest the future growth strategy for the selected organization by giving reason to defend the selected strategy.
